What We Believe

FaithLabz Statement of Faith

Who We Are

FaithLabz isn’t a church. It’s not a seminary. It’s me a guy who loves God, loves the Bible, and loves making creative stuff that helps people meet Jesus or know Him better.

I was raised Roman Catholic, and I’m grateful for that foundation, but FaithLabz is simply Bible-centered. I’m not a pastor and I’m not trying to be one. I’m a learner. Everything I create here comes from that place:
“I’m learning about God and Jesus, and I’m inviting you to learn with me.”

The Bible

We believe the Bible is:

  • God’s Word inspired by God and the final authority for what we believe and how we live.

  • Trustworthy and true inerrant in its original writings.

  • For real life not just theory, but the lens through which we’re trying to understand the world, ourselves, and God.

We don’t claim to have all the answers or to interpret every verse perfectly. But we do believe Scripture gets the final say, even when it pushes back on our opinions, our culture, or our feelings.

God

We believe there is one God in three Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God is:

  • Holy—set apart, pure, and completely good.

  • Creative—the Maker of everything, from galaxies to fingerprints and story ideas.

  • Loving and just—He shows mercy, but He also takes sin seriously.

Jesus Christ

We believe:

  • Jesus is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man.

  • He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and perfectly revealed who God is.

  • He died on the cross as our substitute, taking on Himself the judgment our sin deserves.

  • He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and reigns right now as Lord.

  • He will return in the future to judge, to set things right, and to renew all things.

Jesus isn’t just a good teacher or inspiring story—He’s the center of everything we do at FaithLabz.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit:

  • Indwells every believer, giving new life and a new heart.

  • Transforms us over time, growing the character of Jesus in us.

  • Guides, comforts, convicts, and empowers us to follow Christ and serve others.

We believe the Spirit gives gifts to the Church so we can build each other up. When it comes to how every specific gift works today, we’re still learning and don’t pretend to have all the details nailed down. Our posture is humble: we want to stay faithful to Scripture and open to whatever the Spirit truly wants to do.

Humanity, Sin, and Our Need

We believe:

  • Every person is created in the image of God and has deep, unshakable worth.

  • We are also fallen and sinful, by nature and by choice.

  • Because of sin, we are separated from God and cannot fix ourselves by trying harder or being “good people.”

This is why the cross matters so much. If we could save ourselves, Jesus wouldn’t have needed to die.

Salvation

We believe:

  • We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by our works, effort, or spiritual performance.

  • Salvation is a gift, not something we earn.

  • We respond by trusting Jesus, turning from our old way of life, and following Him.

There are deep theological debates about how all the mechanics of salvation work and what exactly can or can’t be “lost.” FaithLabz doesn’t exist to settle every debate. We stand firmly on this: Jesus saves. We are rescued by trusting Him, not by impressing Him.

The Church and FaithLabz

We believe:

  • There is one universal Church made up of everyone who truly belongs to Jesus.

  • God calls believers to be part of local churches where they worship, learn, serve, and live in community.

FaithLabz is not a church and does not replace your local church.

FaithLabz is a creative ministry—me using the gifts God gave me (storytelling, visuals, tech, teaching-style content) to:

  • Talk about God and His Word as I’m learning.

  • Reach people who might not walk into a church (yet).

  • Help believers deepen their understanding and love for Jesus.

  • Point people toward healthy, Bible-teaching local churches, not away from them.

Following Jesus in Everyday Life

We believe the Christian life is a daily journey:

Waking up each day and trying to navigate this world while being as close to Jesus as we know how to be—and then learning how to be even more like Him tomorrow.

That looks like:

  • Growing over time in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

  • Practicing things like prayer, Scripture reading, confession, forgiveness, generosity, serving, and community.

  • Letting Jesus reshape every part of life—thoughts, habits, relationships, work, and dreams.

Culture, Creativity, and Technology

FaithLabz lives at the intersection of faith, creativity, and tech.

We believe:

  • All creativity, art, story, design, video, music, code ultimately belongs to God and can be used to glorify Him and serve people.

  • Cameras, editing software, AI, social platforms, and algorithms are tools, not gods.

In plain language:

We don’t bow down to views, likes, or the algorithm.
We want to use technology ethically, not be owned by it.
If Jesus isn’t honored, the content misses the point—no matter how “successful” it looks online.

Truth, Love, and Hard Topics

We believe:

  • God’s Word is true and good, even when it’s hard or countercultural.

  • Every person no matter their story, beliefs, past, or struggles is made in God’s image and should be treated with dignity, honor, and compassion.

  • Jesus calls all of us to repentance and transformation, not just comfort and affirmation.

On moral and cultural issues (including things like sexuality, gender, marriage, and the value of human life), FaithLabz seeks to:

  • Align with historic, Bible-centered Christian teaching.

  • Hold conviction without cruelty speaking truth in love, not in anger or contempt.

  • Welcome anyone to listen, watch, and walk with us, even if they disagree.

We believe real love tells the truth, and real truth is always delivered with humility and compassion.

Our Posture

At the end of the day:

  • We hold these beliefs with conviction, because we believe they’re rooted in Scripture.

  • We also hold them with humility, knowing we’re still learning and growing.

  • FaithLabz exists to point to Jesus, not to itself.

If anything here is unclear, it’s not because God is confused—it’s because we’re still in process. And that’s okay. This ministry is built on the idea that we can keep learning together as we follow Him.
